MEDIA RELEASE: Parliamentary Secretary, Anthony Carbines MP, announces funding expansion for Western Carers

Yesterday, Parliamentary Secretary for Carers and Volunteers, Anthony Carbines, visited Carers Victoria and announced an additional $1.25m towards the expansion of the Support For Carers Program. This is a direct response to the Victorian Carer Strategy and a demonstrated commitment from the Labor government to close the gap on providing much-needed support for carers.

Anthony was joined by his advisor Kathleen Matthews-Ward, and Katie Hall, MP Member for Footscray. Carers Victoria CEO Scott Walker hosted an office walkaround, giving staff members an opportunity to speak directly with our guests.
